There have been a lot of questions regarding my Republican support. In a recent press release, the public was informed about my Campaign Manager, Caitlin Gallagher, being an Independent, and my Treasurer, Patrick King, being a Republican. Also, here are a few of the entities that have contacted me, giving me support or asking for support. Click here

First and foremost, let me take this time to thank you for visiting one of my websites. Any of you who are taking the time to view this is obviously interested in the political process, and this is crucial for any government to truly work to the benefit of it’s people. Hopefully this race will bring out as many new voters as did 2008. Then we’ll be on the right track! There has been a lot of news getting passed on about my Republicans for Dr. Tim Riley website. For those of you who have viewed it over the past weeks, it hasn’t changed much up until this point. Everything that has been written has been very upfront. Various individuals have approached the media accusing me of claiming their endorsement of myself, and my campaign. This has never been the case. My opponent appears to be the one truly misleading voters on his website. One example is he is claiming that the NRA gave him an “A” rating. This is impossible, as no candidate is able to achieve such a rating until they are elected into office and are an incumbent. (Click here for more details on this). My motto for this campaign is “placing principles before personalities, and doing the next right thing”. Therefore, I intend on sharing with you, the voters, as much information as possible to help you make your decision prior to the November 2nd election.
All of the individuals you see in the photos on my websites are people that I have gone out of my way to meet with. Why? Because, regardless of my party affiliation, I will go above and beyond the call of duty to work with any government official, or any citizen to make our state and our great nation a better place to live. This kind of “team work” is essential in order to truly meet the needs of our citizens.
A gentleman by the name of Marty Ryall, (according to the SOS website is a staff member for Karen Handel), contacted my campaign manager earlier today, stating that Ms. Handel will release a statement claiming that she does not endorse my campaign if I did not remove her photo from my website. It is important that I inform you, the readers, that the reason that picture exists is because Ms. Handel and or her campaign invited me to a rally for her and guest Sarah Palin in Atlanta prior to the primary election. (Click here to see my autographed ticket and a copy of the form I sent confirming my attendance).
While Karen lost the primary runoff, I remain an admirer or any woman running for office. As you can see in my photo with Karen, I am wearing my State Senate name badge. I would hope that as an active member of Georgia’s government for many years, and as someone actively pursuing office during this election term with such a high profile guest as Sarah Palin that she and her staff knew who was in attendance if for no other reason, Ms. Pailin’s security. I would not insult her intelligence by assuming otherwise. I still greatly appreciate the opportunity I had to speak with Ms. Handel and Ms. Palin. I would have been more than willing to work with her if she had been elected Governor of Georgia. Reaching out a hand to others is a part of who I am. I want to be approachable to anyone regardless of party affiliation. I had hoped that Ms. Handel was going to break the glass ceiling in the Georgia GOP. Having a picture of Ms. Handel on any of my websites serves no other purpose for me than admiration for her accomplishment.
