Hi! I'm Dr. Tim Riley, and I am running for State Senate in Georgia's 47th district. I hope this website gives everyone the opportunity to learn more about me and see why I am the your best choice for this office. I am proud to say that my support comes from people with diverse backgrounds, including many Republicans. This is because after being an active member of the political process and of this community, I am already the true voice of the fine residents of Clarke, Elbert, Jackson, Barrow, Madison and Oglethorpe Counties. After November 2nd, with me as your State Senator, this voice will speak to the rest of the state, and help to get legislation passed that is important to YOU!
My motto for this election is "placing principles before personalities, and doing the next right thing." Not necessarily following any particular party line strictly has caused me to receive some criticism, but being true to myself has also gained me a lot of support from amazing, open-minded individuals, not just in Georgia, but all over the United States!  It is time to look at politics in a different way.  We must be united in making our region of Georgia a better place to live for everyone.
